Charities

In Quebec, boating and other water activities are an integral part of the local culture and economy, but with these activities come inherent risks. That’s where the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary (CCGA) comes in. The CCGA is an organization dedicated to promoting boating safety and saving lives on the water. They rely on a network of dedicated volunteers and partner organizations to carry out their important mission, and Team Angela Langtry is proud to be one of them.

In addition to their support of the CCGA, Team Angela Langtry is committed to giving back to the local community. They donate a portion of each West Island sale to support Unit 8, a local Coast Guard station, as well as volunteer their time to support their efforts. By supporting the CCGA and Unit 8, Team Angela Langtry is helping to ensure that the waters surrounding Quebec remain safe and enjoyable for all.

If you’re interested in helping to support the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary and their mission to save lives on the water, there are many ways to get involved. You can make a donation directly to the organization, participate in one of their fundraising events, or volunteer your time to support their operations. With your help, we can ensure that the waters around Quebec remain safe and enjoyable for all. Click the link to learn more about how you can get involved and make a difference.

The Ride For Dad is a national motorcycle ride dedicated to raising funds for prostate cancer research and increasing awareness of the disease. The mission of the Ride For Dad is to save men’s lives by supporting research and promoting early detection of prostate cancer. For Angela and Matt, participating in the Ride For Dad is a personal cause that is close to their hearts. They have been riding in the event annually and are dedicated to raising awareness about prostate cancer and supporting efforts to find a cure.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian men, with 1 in 9 men diagnosed in their lifetime. The Ride For Dad plays an important role in raising funds for research, which is crucial in developing better treatments and ultimately finding a cure for the disease. By participating in the ride and raising awareness of prostate cancer, Angela and Matt are helping to make a difference in the fight against this devastating disease.

If you’re interested in joining Angela and Matt in supporting the Ride For Dad and its mission to save men’s lives, there are many ways to get involved. You can participate in the ride itself, make a donation to support prostate cancer research, or volunteer your time to support the cause. Together, we can help make a difference in the lives of men affected by prostate cancer.
